The Latest from LLOYDZ...Torque Tube RUMORS:
By now most of you are probabley familur with our new TTi (Torque Tube intake). There's been some rumors about the claims made by us and our customers to the increases in performance and potential when this intake is installed. I'm here to say these are NOT rumors! This intake will produce more useable horsepower and torque across the board then ANY other open intake on the market BAR NONE! Increases in perfromance are sometimes equal to and even better in some cases then an internal motor upgrade. Some have said that the cost is alittle pricey, I say you cant afford not to have one. The TTi has been proven to add more cost effective power across the rpm range then 95% of the products we sell and it can be installed by most anyone (on second thought, some of you just shouldn't have tools in your hands). The TTi has been designed and fabricated to maximize full curve potential all the way to 140hp where even the best bolt-on pipes start falling off in power. Whats this mean? Simple, if you have a motor producing under 140 hp this intake combined with just about any cam and exhaust profile (438 Andrews excluded) will produce the highest Torque and Horsepower level possible for a street performance build. This intake also makes short open pipes such as the high Quality Conquest Customs along with SlashNess, and Slash work even better. If your not into the huge increases in power this intake also allows easy serviceablity of filter cleaning without removing the tank and a killer look. Check out the graphes and you will see even the Stock Victory Intake cant match the performance level of the new TTi. We are in the process of making additions to our current staff to help us manage this extra work load, however, bringing new talent into a very precise and dedicated business does not happen quickly and should not be taken lightly or done in haste. Unfortunately, several chains of events have forced us to overload our suppliers, in addtion to their unforeseen equipment failures, causing a set back for us larger then I care to even think about. As Most of you know Lloyd'z and S&S Cycle have been working together for some time. We listened to all the complaints of backfiring and twitchy throttle feel on tip-in and decided to do something about it. Currently, all 08-10 bikes are non-serviceable when it comes to making adjustments. This component will fit all 08-10 Victory Motorcycles with stock or modified motors and will give you the ability to adjust your Idle Air at the turn of a screw. The I.A.C. (Idle Air Controller) on your bikes opens as the throttle is applied making a larger intake leak then needed to support idle air. Our new Valve will allow you to fine tune this for your bike. What we've seen over the past year in developing this is that all bikes require a slightly different adjustment depending on the pipes, intakes and fueling requirements of that specific motor.
