Mike "Jethro" Pearce ends the season 2nd in points in the V Mod class in the American Motorcycle Racing Assn (AMRA) circuit this year. Riding a Lloydz-built motor, Mike earned enough points to finish high in the point standing because he took part in every 2009 AMRA event. Mike recalls, "It's all heads-up racing on a pro tree. In the V Mod class, I'm running against V-Rod Destroyers, which are basically Harley's all-out drag bike." His best time in the eighth-mile was 6.41 seconds at 108 mph. In the quarter-mile, his time was 10.11 seconds at 137.8 mph.

Christy (pictured with Lloyd) hit the strips and pulled a respectable time of 11.81 at 114mph. She says she knows she can do better. We believe her ad expect to be posting even better times for her next season. Go Christy!

Mike Pearce, a long time Lloydz customer, sent us this photo of him at the drags with his white Classic Cruiser. Mike pulled an impressive 10.11 quarter mile with a speed of 137.8mph! Mike edged out Lloydz' own Adam Torchio on our speed roster. Watchout Mike, Adam doesn't like to get beat!

Greg Moe breaks World Speed Record at Bonneville with a Lloydz motor!

Congratulations to Greg Moe and his "Hanger 12" team for setting a World Record at Bonneville salts flats on 9-3-09. Greg recorded a 2 run average of 165.8 mph to become the first Victory to Officially set a land speed record. We at Lloyd'z salute Greg for pulling off this huge accomplishment and getting his name in the record books. Greg's bike is basically a stock frame Kingpin with stock billet wheels and very mild alterations with just enough upgrades to make it safe and reliable. Greg was running one of our 110 inch motors that received extensive testing and development in order to run in the harsh environments of desert heat and High RPM's. There were allot of late nights in cam development and cylinder head flow to yield a very strong yet powerful motor capable of competing in such a competive class.

Lloydz knows how to make Harleys go fast too! Miguel Higuera will testify to that. His '07 HD Nighttrain ran a 11.54 quarter mile and reached 112mpg doing it!   Be careful who you challenge to a race, he may Lloyd too!

71 years young, George L. from Maryland had such a great time beating Harleys at the Maryland Drags running a Lloydz 100in. package, he had to let us know about it, "Lloyd thank you for the memories, I know the bike will run in the top 11's but the rider needs tuning!" - George L.

Congratulations to Greg Moe for recording a top speed of 159+ MPH on this Victory Kingpin custom with a motor by Lloydz Motorworks. Greg is shooting for the world record of 163mph for class.

World's Fastest Victory!
David Torchio sits waiting while owner Matt Waring of MBW Motorcycle stands axniously prior to his setting the fastest speed recorded for a Victory motorcycle at 147.53343 mph. Lloydz is proud to have been a part, building the motor and setting the chassis of this motorcycle.

"We are all proud of the results made by this motorcycle for the first time out. Our goals of producing consistant gains and maintianing reliability during this event were met. We had no intentions to run this bike to it's fullest potential and there is alot more left in her for next spring. It was a new rider and new bike that we felt needed to aclamate to each other and we wanted to have a safe, reliable good time. We've never experienced personally a mile long race so Adam "Torch" Torchio spent countless hours setting up the chassis to make sure his brother David would be safe and comfortable. Like Matt always says, He'll make them look good and we'll make them fast! Thanks Matt for letting us be a part of your build."

1st annual Victory Race at Daytona Bike Week
2007 was a good year for winning! It started in Daytona Bike Week at the 1st annual Victory Race. Piloted by "Torch" (far left in photo), we posted the quickest & fastest times and also received the top eliminator award. Originally, we had slated a 110 inch build for this event but a Dealer from California liked it better (and bought it!). With only 2 days left before departing for Florida we THREW together a 100 inch motor with parts we had laying around. This posted us a 11.59 et @ 121 mph speed on the bottle.

Mark Johnson stuns the crowd at the Immokalee Raceway, Jan. 2008 with an 11 second run on his wheelie-standing, Lloydz-powered, Victory TC.

6/24/07 Victory vs Harley Meet @ Maryland International Speedway
Lloyd had to stay home for his son's baptism but sent Torch off to smoke the competition. Once again we were Top Eliminator with the quickest time and fastest MPH running a best of 10.93 @ 123 mph off the bottle on our 100 inch motor.

9/23/07 3 for 3 at New England Dragway, Epping NH
We found out the competition is getting faster, most are running our motors! We had some stiff competition and some fast bikes. Those Maine Dealers are putting out some fast Iron. Our friend Dave from PMRT drove out from Ohio to race with us and posted the 2nd quickest Victory. With Lloyd in the drivers seat this time we still had the Quickest and Fastest Victory and enough to put all the Harley's on the side line and take the winners circle.

YES, we've been playing with Turbo's also. Having seen some of the other turbo projects out there I stated, "I wouldn't do a turbo unless it made 200 hp!" Then I had someone bite, OOPs, did I just open mouth & insert foot? GNAW! We slammed it home at 193 hp and a clutch that slipped after 2 pulls. We then go so busy we never did finish tuning it, but we know it's capability is well over 200hp! Anyone interested in being the first to twist the throttle on 250hp let us know.

After all - We Are HARD-ON HORSEPOWER!!
